WITH headlines featuring fall from grace in recent news like Nike, Convergys; conversations around sexual harassment at workplace are becoming more pertinent. While focus on compliance to the law is important, it is equally important to design internal systems and processes that help in preventing such behaviours and at the same time also allow employees to speak up without fear of retaliation. Organisations have a long way in ensuring workplace is harassment free – by framing policies, internal messaging and campaigns that help in creating a collective sense of responsibility. However, this journey knows no destination.
